Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich needed only 15 seconds to find the net on their way to a 3-0 win in the top clash against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, reported dpa.
Bayern have won all of their six league games so far and with the victory in Frankfurt they have extended their advantage over second-placed Borussia Dortmund to four points.
They have also won 10 consecutive competitive matches this season, which is a club record.
Dortmund dropped points as they were held to a 1-1 draw with RB Leipzig ahead of their visit to Bayern on October 18 after the international break.
Wins for Leverkusen, Augsburg, Bremen
Elsewhere, Bayer Leverkusen defeated Union Berlin 2-0 from Ernest Poku and teenager Christian Kofane, after a howler from Berlin keeper Frederik Rönnow.
The 2024 champions rose to fourth and remain unbeaten under new coach Kasper Hjulmand.
There was a scare when playmaker Alejandro Grimaldo had to be taken off on a stretcher with a head injury suffered in a collision with Kofane. But Grimaldo received the all-clear after the match and said: "Everything is fine. It's just a cut."
Augsburg ended a run of four straight defeats with an emphatic 3-1 over Wolfsburg from Noahkai Banks, Mert Kömür and Robin Fellhauer. Werder Bremen beat St Pauli 1-0 from Samuel Mbangula's second-minute strike as the visitors from Hamburg suffered a third straight defeat.
The Sunday fixtures are VfB Stuttgart v Heidenheim, SV Hamburg v Mainz and bottom club Borussia Mönchengladbach v Freiburg. Cologne won 1-0 at Hoffenheim on Friday.
Bayern don't waste time
The quickest Bundesliga goal was scored within nine seconds and Bayern got close to that mark as they were on target just 15 seconds after kick-off after Frankfurt failed to clear their lines.
Serge Gnabry's cross found Luis Diaz in front of the goal, who slid to poke the ball into the net
Frankfurt thought they were level in the 14th minute, but Jean-Matteo Bahoya's effort was ruled out because Ritsu Doan used his hand to control the ball in the build-up.
Good for Bayern, who doubled their lead through Harry Kane in the 27th minute as he became the first player in the Bundesliga to score 11 goals on the first six matchdays of a season.
The England striker hit the post in the 55th before Diaz completed his brace and sealed the win for the Bavarians in the 84th after a counterattack
"I don't really know how it happened, simply unlucky. It's of course very bitter," said Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown, who this week was nominated to the Germany squad for the first time.
Bayern set new club record
With the victory, Bayern have set a new club record of 10 consecutive wins across all competitions in one season.
The previous best mark (nine wins) was set under coach Jupp Heynckes in the 2012-13 season, when Bayern won the Champions League, the Bundesliga and the German Cup.
"We try to do better every week, to learn from every game. It's always hard to play here, but we played at the highest level," Bayern defender Jonathan Tah told Sky TV.
Dortmund frustrated by Leipzig
Leipzig started strongly and snatched a seventh-minute lead in front of the Yellow Wall when Forzan Ouedraogo headed a cross from the right back into the path of Christoph Baumgartner to score into the left corner.
That ended Dortmund's run of four clean sheets but they were level in the 23rd from Yan Couto's slightly deflected shot after being set up nicely by Serhou Guirassy following Maximilian Beier's cross.
Leipzig had a second goal from Romulo Cardoso disallowed because he was narrowly offside, and they came close again shortly after the restart from Romulo and Ouedraogo's header.
Each team had chances to win it but eventually both sides' run of four straight league victories came to an end.
But Dortmund remain unbeaten in all competitions this season, and in 14 Bundesliga matches since their last defeat, in March in Leipzig.
"We remain unbeaten but unfortunately we didn't win. We came back well and had control. The lucky punch was missing," defender Nico Schlotterbeck told Sky TV.
