Pukki says goodbye to Int´l football

Legendary Finnish footballer Teemu Pukki ended his international career on Monday with a glorious victory in a friendly match against minnows Andorra.

The all-time top scorer scored his 43rd goal in the final and 133rd match at Tampere stadium late Monday night and announced his retirement from the international football after 16 years career.

Talking to Yle Sport Pukki expressed his satisfaction over the victory in the last match saying that the success in the farewell game made him happy.

Teemu Eino Antero Pukki, the 35 years old footballer started is his career with Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat (KTP) in 2005 where he was born in 1990.

He also showed magnificent performances during his career at different clubs in home and abroad including Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi (HJK), British club Norwich City and North American Club Minnesota United.
